Why a locked VW isn’t a DIY job
VW doors deadlock, and an Amarok or Transporter with the keys locked in the cab at the end of a shift is one of our most common trade calls in Wangara and Malaga.
VW lockouts we handle
- Keys locked in the cabin
- Keys locked in the boot
- The car locked itself with the key inside
- A flat key fob that won’t unlock the car
- Popular models: Golf, Tiguan, Amarok and Transporter
What we don’t do for VW
We don’t cut or program keys for European cars, and we don’t repair car door locks or ignitions. If your only VW key is lost, we can still open the car so you can get to your belongings, but a replacement key needs a VW dealer or a specialist. See which cars we make keys for.

Common questions
Keys locked in my Transporter with all my tools. How fast can you come?
Tell us where you are and we’ll give you an honest arrival time on the phone. Trade vans get priority at knock-off time because we know what’s in the back.
Can you make a new VW key?
No. We open the car, but VW keys need a dealer or a specialist.
Do I need to prove it’s my car?
Yes. We’ll ask for your licence and something showing the VW is yours before we open it.
